It’s mid-November. Paula and I decided to stroll down to Queen Street East for a nice, chill lunch break.

On our way there, we stopped by Loïc Gourmet to enjoy a pulled pork sandwich under a blossoming origami tree.

We continued east along Queen Street to Ed’s Real Scoop where we were greeted by a rainbow of gelato and ice cream…

some Dirty Spoons…

…. and the “Defender of Ice Cream from Ice Cream Gnomes”.

I ordered a Red Hot Chili Chocolate gelato and Paula ordered a Green Apple gelato… both on a pine cone, both indisputably delicious.

Then it’s time to grow up and get back to work.
